Can't see epics on Kanban board and turn them on

I just joined Jira and met an issue - I created an epic on roadmap but can't see this epic on my Kanban board. I checked similar questions and tried that trick with going to the board configuration so that to change the preferences in the columns section BUT I see the different interface there (4th image). There aren't any buttons or functions, just a function to add a new column. How to enable showing epics on my Kanban board?

Welcome to the Atlassian community!

I see that you are working with a Team Managed project.

Epics can not be shown as cards on the board for a Team Managed project.

You can use the Group By option to group by Epics and see the child issues of Epics as cards in horizontal swimlanes.

You can turn on the Backlog feature and see Epics in the Epics panel on the Backlog screen.
