I have an account right now where I want to change the email.
I request to change it, I receive the email to the new email address, and I click that link.
This brings me to a page where I login with a password.
The issue is that my previous account was a google connected account... so there is no text password for logging in.
So, I can't finish confirming my new account.
Is there are work around? Or is the lesson to not use google to login to jira?
If you can't log in with a password, one workaround could be resetting your Google account password. Once you've reset your password, you may be able to log in with the new password and finish confirming your new email address. Another option would be to create a new Jira account using a different email address. If you need additional email accounts, you can Buy Gmail Accounts. Hope this helps!
