We currently have two sub projects running along side each other from different departments the projects are now coming to a point where certain issues need to be addressed by the other project. Our problem is although we want the other dept to sort the issue we also don't want to lose sight of it. Is there an easy answer to this question.
The easiest thing might be to create a dashboard to keep track of those issues, instead of adding them on your boards. You won't be able to add a clone on the other board without using third party add-ons but that may be an overkill as well.
Another option is to transfer the issues between boards using a custom workflow. You can have different columns on the board, one for transferring to the other team when the time comes. This is useful only if the teams work together on all issues. If not, I will go for the dashboard option.
