I keep getting notifications when I am the one that has made the change. This is really clogging up my notifications. Anytime I do anything in a ticket I am watching, assigned to, or the one that created the origianl ticket I get a notification.
I had seen older posts about disabling notifications for changes made by me, but I can't see that anywhere in my notification settings.
As @Marc - Devoteam said, you can set your personal notifications to stop notifications when you make the change. Go to your Avatar in the upper right corner and select "Personal Settings". You should see the checkbox below. Make sure it is unchecked.
However, if the problem is that you are getting notifications even though the box is unchecked because an Automation is making the change on your behalf, then Jira doesn't see you as the "change agent" - it sees the Automation bot as the change agent. Therefore, you are going to get the notification. There isn't anything you can do about this without speaking with your Admin and changing the notification scheme settings.
I've completely disabled email notifications previously as I utilise the teams integration. So it's the JRIA automation that is clogging things up, from what I can see. I can't see any way to stop getting notifications in the jira cloud in teams and in my actual JIRA notifications to now show when there was a change/comment due that I made.

It doesn't include the option to not include automated notifications for changes/updates I am making.

As @Derek Fields _RightStar_ mentioned, actions done by Jira automation are not taken into acocunt with these settings, or notification schemes in that matter.
This is only based on actions you perform in Jira.
If based on your action an automation is triggered that sends an email or trams message, than you need to look into the rules.
The same applies for notifications based on notification schemes.
