I need help in a creating a burn down chart for a set of EPICs/Stories that are required to  finish at code freeze milestone. I do not want to use release burn down canned report from JIRA as it brings all stories and EPICs for other teams too. I need to only look at burndown chart sprint over sprint for set of stories that are planned for my project and are planned to finish by a certain code freeze date. This code freeze date is not in any JIRA field.

Can someone please help with that ?

Hi @Ashish Arora,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Unfortunately this is not possible with Jira's out-of-the-box tools.

A solution would be to search for a plugin on Atlassian Marketplace that offers such a gadget or report.

If you consider the option of using a plugin, our Great Gadgets app offers a Release Burndown Burnup Chart gadget that will fully address your need.

If you configure this gadget with a filter/JQL that returns the issues from your epics and set the dates, you will get an epic burndown chart displayed on your dashboard.

This gadget is capable to make a forecast based on current velocity and can also display milestones.
