Burndown Chart shows flat line when we're out of hours

Hi -

Our burndown chart shows a flat line when we're out of hours. How do i get rid of the flat line or is this normal?

My JIRA hours are set to 6 hours a day in GMT, sprints last 5 days (although the screen grab shows a 4 day sprint)

We typically start at 9:30 and finish around 4:30 per day in the sprint

Oh no, weekends can be excluded, but not non-working hours. But your sprint is just four days? And isn't right also that there is nothing being burned when the team is taking rest aka sleep :)

@Renjith There is no constraint as far as I am aware of, of how long or short a sprint can be? What's wrong with setting a sprint for four days.

I want to know how to get rid of the flat line during the sprint...

To reiterate, we have JIRA set to run 6 hour days, Monday to Friday, therefore when we sprint for 5 days (our typical sprint) we always get the flat line during none productive hours....

No, there is nothing wrong for four days. In fact that might be the most agile team, which is very good.

But AFAIK, GreenHopper do not have an option to exclude non working hours (like it allows to exclude weekends).

I was hoping for the same thing as the "feel" of a chart is very different with all those flatlines. You can figure out the trend, but not the acceleration of the graph and we usually end days ahead and start days behind because of it.
