Given a status in a column - I see two colors; blue and grey - what is the difference?

Grey = To Do

Blue = In Progress

Green = Done

these are status "categories" used w/in Jira for various functions.

Question:  I have 5 statuses in the done column. 4 are Green and 1 is Grey (Accepted).  Any idea why this is and can I change it?  We use Jira Cloud if that matters...

Thanks

It's the status category - blue is in-progress, gray means t0-do (or, sometimes, that you have not given the status a category).  Go to Admin -> issue -> status to change them.
