Hello community, i have a few projects in archive, but i need to delete them, but first I have to save them somewhere for an indefinite period , like backup file, for future if my teem will need them, recomend me pls app or built-in solution to do it.
I only found built-in solution thet making backup for all jira, i read that its for 2 weeks, and scared if after half a year I return the backup, it will replace the projects that were carried out and erase the data.
Hi Kyrylo - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Take a look at the Revyz Data Manager for Jira. It will do what you need. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1228694?tab=overview&hosting=cloud
We wrote a discussion here on how to back up your projects simply by using an automated JQL schedule. You will have them in CSV format and everything resides within your Jira storage hidden from view. You can decide to download the export anytime and you can back up single or multiple projects

Hello @Kyrylo Nahornyi ,
Here you can go a few ways. You can try to export your Jira using backup manager, and here you will get all the data that you have exported. Read more about it here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/export-issues/
Another option is to use a third-party backup tool, like GitProtect.io backup & Disaster Recovery software for Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management, and Jira Work Management. With the backup solution you can easily follow backup best practices and back up the Jira data you need. Moreover, thanks to unlimited retention, it's possible to keep data for as long as your company requires, as the vendor provides unlimited retention.
You can find out more about GitProtect backup & DR software on Atlassian Marketplace and try it free for 14 day or free for up to 10 users: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1228719/gitprotect-io-backups-for-jira-cloud?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
Hope that you will find the answer helpful,
Regards,
Daria
