Backlog and Timeline missing after Project Lead update change

Hello,

The former project lead and creator of a very important board and critical project has left the company. His access was disabled. On each board he created, I changed myself to the Project Lead using the Project Settings of each board (there are several). I also updated the name of each board.

I have the same permissions as the former lead.

After making these changes, our Backlog is gone as is our timeline. I have gone to Project Settings > Features and am unable to enable Backlog or Timeline. I am directed to got to board Settings. I did so and changed the mapping so we have a Backlog column. This has not resolved the issue. 

Please help me restore the backlog and timeline. This is an extremely critical project. Thank you so much.

Hello, Good day. This is Team managed project or company managed project?

Also this is a Kanban board or a scrum board ?
