I want to automatically create a new subtask if another subtask is finished. it has to be linked to the parent user story of the finished subtask. I have tried a few things but i don't get how i should make the Then clause.

Hello @Tobi de Fijter

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

When asking for help with an automation rule, it will help us help you if you provide the following:

  1. Tell us the type of project you are working with in the rule. Get the project Type information from the View All Projects page under the Projects menu.
  2. Provide a screen image that shows your entire automation rule.
  3. Provide screen images showing the details of each step in the rule.
  4. If you are executing the rule and getting unexpected results, provide a screen image that shows all the details from the Audit Log for a time when the rule ran.

When we have that information we will be able to provide advice applicable to your specific rule.
