Automatically update StatusPage component using Automation rule

I have a need to automate the updating of components in StatusPage using JIRA Service Desk. 

What I would like to be able to do is use the automation rules to match and then send a request the StatusPage API to update the component using the WebHook, however, the StatusPage API requires a PATCH method but it looks as though the WebHook only supports POST method.

Has anyone been able to do something similar or have any ideas on a way I could achieve this?

It seems there is no documentation whatsoever for StatusPage
