Hello,
Newbe her to Jira.
We have some incident which are auto resoved due to status in Azure. Specifically these incident we do NOT want an email do go out to recipients if it automatically closed.
Is it possible to configure JIRA in such a way ?
Thanks in advence
Rune
Hi @Rune Gundersen,
Sure, custom events should help here. Please check out this article to create a custom event and then add it to the transition which is used for auto resolving incidents: Configure a custom event notification for a Jira server workflow transition or status. Since you don't want to send notifications during these transitions, skip the section Include the Custom Event in Notification Scheme in the article.
If you use one transition for both automatic incident resolution and other issues, I would recommend that you split that transition into two and add a custom event to just the one used for incidents.
Thank you for your reply. We will try and follow your suggestion :)
