Is there a way to automatically hide the jira cloud side panel when a file is opened?

Context: I have built a timesheet in excel where each person has their own sheet. The first sheet in the workbook uses the Jira Cloud for Excel integration to pull in a list of epics. Whenever someone opens the timesheet via a link that takes them directly to their sheet, the jira cloud side panel is automatically opened and they have to close it.

Thanks for any help!

Hi @Max Pfeifle

Welcome to the community.

I experimented with the options available with "Jira Cloud for Excel" too to check your use case, but seems like it isn't offered by Excel or by the plugin.

If you feel that this is a feature that might be of benefit to the others too would highly suggest raising a ticket https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/, Atlassian Support team can then raise an ticket internally to consider this as an suggestion (which should then be listed here https://jira.atlassian.com/issues/?jql=project%20%3D%20JRACLOUD%20AND%20component%20%3D%20%22Integration%20-%20Excel%22)
