Automate associating issue with salesforce case

Hello,

We are 6 weeks into using servicerocket integration with salesforce cases.  Our current workflow is to create the SF case and the Jira Issue with a single email sent to both systems.  User then goes in and associates the case to the issue in SF.

Is there a way to trigger SF to automatically associate case to issue with the same subject?  Looking for sample apex or similar class if it has been done before.
