Auto-schedule button not visible in plan view

I use Jira cloud premium subscription.

I have plan administrator permission.

Auto-scheduler is enabled from Plan Settings.

Auto-Schedule button is not visible in the Timeline view.

 

Please support to find the cause and how to fix it.

Your mention of Plan Settings, which are discrete from other Jira settings, helped me resolve my own "missing" Automatic Scheduling button.

Why does Atlassian hide the button? It is a total mystery why this feature defaults to "off" for every new Plan that's created, when it must be invoked by a button, no Plan changes are made without a confirmation, and no Project changes are made without further confirmation.
