Attachments don't show when adding an image in comment

I want to show an image that has been uploaded a while back in a comment. The image shows in attachments. When I click on the add image icon in the comment section then the attachments don't show up. It used to work before the update...

Hello Bianca,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Currently, the new view does not have the functionality to show only the attachments of the current ticket, it will show all the recent attachments that you used. We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
