Currently I am the default assignee for ever issue. My supervisor has requested a query of everything is working on including me. I let him know that would show all tickets for me that I am working on and not working so he would like the default assignee to be null until someone actually picks it up to work on it. Is this possible on the cloud version?
To change the assignee of an issue:
Open an issue > click on Assign button > delete your name on the field Assignee (you'll see Automatic instead of your name) > Click on Assign button.
To change the default assignee on a project:
Open the project administration > Click on Roles > Click on the pencil icon next to Default Assignee > Choose Unassigned > Click on Update.
*Please note you must allow unassigned issues on the instance. You can refer to Configuring JIRA Options for further information.
