Archive JIRA ticket in Kanban

Marziah Zarazilla November 27, 2019

We set up the JIRA tickets in KANBAN format. Jira tickets created are moved from each column until they are completed and finally moved to the 'DONE' column.  Now my 'DONE' has too many tickets and I would like to archive it.  How do I archive these tickets?

Hi @Marziah Zarazilla

There are 2 ways to not show tickets in the Done column :

  1. Tag tickets with a fixVersion and periodically release the version. We do that for each physical "release" to Live, then they don't show on the board anymore. You can always then go to the Releases section to see the tickets.
  2. Add a statement like AND resolutiondate > -10d to your board filter, where you can change the -10d to be any time period that you want
