i have company managed board with kanban and all the features enabled, i saw archive issues panel on the bottom but i cannot move any task into it, i checked the docs and everything and i could not find any information about this
Hello @Abdullah Said
Your post tags indicate you are using the Free Jira subscription. Is that correct?
Can you provide a screen image that shows the Archive panel to which you are referring? I am unclear what you are actually seeing in your view. I don't have any panel labeled "archive" in my Company Managed project Kanban boards.
Looking at the post you referenced, one way to hide a completed issue from a Kanban board in a Free subscription is to set the Fix Version of the issue to a Release Version that is Released, while using the Kanban board sub-filter shown in the answer I put on that post.
Another method is to use the "Hide completed issues older than" option to automatically hide the issues that are done and older than the option you specify there.
Both of those options can be used at the same time.
on the bottom you can see archived issue, i know you can only set time period on when the issue will be archived but i'm currently migrating big chunks of issue in which already done and needs to be archived immediately

i wonder why they decided its a good idea to completely ignore the clear feature on company-managed board, i really want to know the reason behind this confusing decision, a kanban template should represent what kanban should be, they shouldve create multiple kanban categories rather than made it impossible for us to use such feature

according to this i'm able to move it only if the task is old enough, the problem is, i want a manual trigger to archive it, or is it a hard feature to implement?
