Anyway to create a project with specific boards/JQL Query?

Edited

Hi all,

Basically we have a specific project setup that everyone uses when starting off. I base new projects on a specific project we have. But I still need to re-create the Boards and the corresponding JQL queries each time.

I of course copy these boards (and then copy the JQL queries and re-connect them) but would love a more automated way as we deal with so many projects.

Thanks!

Hello @Calvin

Are you willing to consider paying for a third party app to satisfy you needs?

Hay mate, we have scriptrunner, but thats really it in third party apps.

I have not found any third party apps for Jira self-hosted that will copy boards to another project and adjust the filter for the board, but I may be missing something.

Thanks Trudy, at least I know I'm not falling down a rabbit hold trying to find something that likely doesn't truly exist.
