All Figma design links are gone from stories and tasks. Can we get a fix and can they be restored?

On 1/22, our engineers discovered that all design links added through the Figma Jira app had disappeared. They could be re-added but disappeared again when interacting with them or refreshing the page. This represents a huge monkey wrench thrown into our workflow as we have limited design resources and depend on these as design reference for our engineers. Is Atlassian aware of this and is there an ETA for a fix? And, if there is a plan for a fix, will it restore the linked designs or will we have to go back and re-link a year's worth of designs to our Jira items?

Welcome to the community! 
As you mention "Figma Jira app", I assume you are using the free app for this, listed here in the marketplace? 

I noticed indeed that the reviews for the app contain the same comment as you mention here. 

I would advice to contact Figma support ASAP, as this is not an Atlassian app but a Figma app, so bugfixing would be Figma responsibility. they might not be aware yet.
