Agile for Work Projects?

Guy Renko February 9, 2025

We're managing some CAD design work as well as special filings and authorizations and such for different clients and created a Work Project but I really like SCRUM planning the week ahead.

Is the only way to get a backlog and sprints and story points to tally at the top of a list through a Software Project?

Hello @Guy Renkovski

You are right. Software projects are geared towards using the Agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum.

Hi. Thank you for your response.

So if we want sprints, that means we need to choose a software project even if it’s a work project. Really, I can make a board swimlane and just call it “Backlog”.

The bigger issue is the points tally.  If I were to make a swimlane and call it “ready for work” or even “sprint”, the total would just be the number of tasks and not the points.
