After a new issue type was created can it's hierarchy level be changed?

When the issue type "TestCase" was created it needed to be set up as a Sub-Task Issue Type (Level -1) BUT it was set up as a Standard Issue Type (Level 0).

How can I change it to -1?

Or do I need to create a new issue type at level -1 to replace it?

That is what I thought but wanted to be sure before I created a new issue type.
