Hello,
I'm testing Advanced roadmap to see if we can generalize it in company.
Creating 2 tasks on Merlin, one with high priority, another with low priority.
I don't understand why the high priority task is planned after the low priority. Please any idea?
Thank you :-)
Hi Nicolas,
It’s quite intriguing that your high-priority task in Advanced Roadmap is being scheduled after a low-priority one. A few things might be at play here:
Task Dependencies: Check if your high-priority task is dependent on other tasks. Sometimes, dependencies can override priority settings, leading to unexpected scheduling.
Resource Availability: If the resources (like team members or specific tools) needed for the high-priority task are tied up with other tasks (even low-priority ones), this could push back its start time.
Configuration Settings: Make sure that the priority settings within Advanced Roadmap are configured correctly. Sometimes, the default settings might not align with your specific needs.
Software Quirks: There’s also a possibility that this could be a quirk or a bug in the software. If the above factors don’t seem to be causing the issue, it might be worth reaching out to the software support or checking if there are any updates or patches available.
I hope this helps! If anyone else has encountered a similar issue or has additional insights, it would be great to hear your thoughts too.
Best of luck with your project management endeavors!
