Advanced Road Map: Auto-schedule - how to get roll up start and due date to show on actual EPIC

When I set my auto-schedule so that the parent (EPIC) level start date (01/11/23) and due date (01/25/23) takes on the dates from it's tasks so I know when the tasks for the EPIC started and when they finished, I notice that when I click on the actual EPIC, the start date and due date are blank and don't reflect the dates I see in my Advanced Road Map.  How do I get these to populate on the actual EPIC task detail automatically?  I provided the auto-schedule settings, Advanced Road Map Project Plan EPIC and its tasks, and the actual EPIC detail.

Hi @Jeanne Higgins

In roll up dates: Parent Issue doesn't save the dates in issue. You have to manually set the dates in Parent issue.

2nd option to update Due date and Start Date from the Advanced Roadmap itself with the current setting, kindly follow the below steps:

  1.  click on Preview Result

2. It will check for the changes and pop up to click on Accept Changes

3. Then click on the Review changes and check if you see the Start and Due Date is appearing for the changes for the Parent issue which is Epic, if you see that then click on "Save selected changes in Jira" button.

Thank you,
