Sorry to ask such a simple thing, but I'm very new to this, and simply looking to add people to different projects & kanban boards. I could do it for one project, but the option to do so has since disappeared on subsequent ones. How do I add already registered users within my wider company to each project and / or board please.

And yes, they are on JIRA and have usernames attached to my company handle.

Thank you!

you can add them to the project if you have project admin rights.

Go to the project, select Project Settings from the navigation.

In project Settings, go to People.

Search for the person/people you want to add. You can add multiple people and groups.

Select the role they will be in for the project and select save.

For the kanban boards, you will have to make sure that the main filter is shared.

In the filter, you can edit permissions and add "everyone" or just "project" members.  Usually, you can just grant view access to allow others to see the board.

For board it self, there is a sharing option in the configuration.  Under viewers, add the users or groups who you want to grant access, and they should be able to see the board.

be sure to hit add

This should help - If you have any questions, let us know.

Hi, @richard_Surridge

Welcome to the community!

You can add any user from your Jira account when you create or edit issue as assignee or reporter.
