Hi Community,
I am working on an automation to auto-update the labels while users add the component. I am creating for both new jiras and also for existing ones. But noticed that, for existing jiras once I update the component, the automation is success as it will add the labels but those will remove any other previously manual updated labels.
Is there any way I can run the automation for existing jiras but keep the current labels even after automation is applied?

In general, for questions about automation rules it is useful if you could share screenshots of your full automation rule, as that makes it easier to understand how far you already got in the process.
For this scenario, if you add the labels field in the edit issue action of your rule, you can select the option to ADDREMOVE labels:
If you select that option and then add your new labels in the Values to add field and leave the Values to remove field blank, you should be able to achieve what you are after.
