Adding Status in an Active Workflow

Hello All,

After i have added a status in a draft of an active workflow, once i save, I get an error message that I cannot use a status not utilized in Active workflow.

What should i do to get rid of this error?

You need to make a copy of the workflow and edit that copy then add it to your project associating it to the desired issuetypes. To make a copy go to admin > issues > workflows and find your current active WF and click on the ellipses on the right. The copy will be at the very bottom of this screen under Inactive.
