Adding Columns to JIRA Board

Hi

I set up my board and I have configured it to show other columns for the sprint such as testing, blockers etc. but they dont show up in my sprint. How do I get them to show up in my sprints so my team can move the stories to the correct column?

Hello,

When you configured your board, did you put the correct status in each column like in the following example ?

You can also make sure that your board points to the right project and filters the right issues from the "General settings of the board :

@Guilhem Dupuy your resolution was it. I am a newbie to JIRA so did not realize that. Next thing is can I duplicate those (open, in progress, etc) It seems there is only 1 of each and I need to add them to multiple areas like yours.

That is what I see under workflows and I dont know where I go to activate any other workflows. I am assuming that is why I cannot create one for testing column.

Hi @Piera Hosinski Can you check if you have mapped status to the columns? 

If you haven't mapped any status, then your columns wouldn't show up on the sprint board.

I cant see the workflows to be able to adjust them this is what I see in workflow: Software Simplified Workflow unavailableThis board is unable to use a Software Simplified Workflow

So I think maybe you are saying you have added statuses to your workflow and now you want columns in the board. Maybe?

So first are you on NG or Classic project?

If NG you add columns by clicking the + symbol on the left. In Classic, if you have a configurable board then you click on the ellipses in the upper right and go to Columns > add column. 

Ultimately I need more info to help more accurately.
