Add the summary of a linked issue to the summary of the linked issue.

I have an automation that creates 6 new tickets that are linked as at "is child of" and issueType of "Task". What I would like to do is add the Summary of the original triggering ticket to the Summary of the new ticket.

Example.

Original issue summary is "Server XXX is Down"

New ticket is "Servier XXX is Down" Research the reason"

Without adding any new plugins can this be done? I have not found any solution. Can I do this if I use Sub-Task?

How are you creating the 6 new tickets? Via automation? You can set the summary as part of the automation, you just set the summary field to be {{issue.summary}} - Research the reason.

Yes, I'm creating them with automation. So are you saying I can just do this in the "Create a new" task?
