As a user, I would like to be able to limit the number of entries returned in the History view for an issue by toggling off the history entries from "Jira Automation".
The number of lines that return for the Jira Automation user are extensive, and they take up a lot of space and cause an inordinate amount of scrolling and "add more lines" clicks. This makes it difficult to find the updates from an actual user in the history.
This requested change should provide the ability to hide or show the History from the Jira Automation user.
Here is one of the suggestions to add that ability to hide/toggle the history items from automation rules. You may vote for/watch it to see progress.

Kind regards,
Bill
Thanks Bill! I added a vote. I would really like to see that implemented soon. It is a pain to deal with all of the scrolling, and it makes it easy to miss updates that I am looking for in the history. Sure, I can perform a search, but you have to expand the entire history in order for the search to find it.

I wish the ability to hide 'automation' history records will be picked up soon because it is a real pain. I think it'd be better if we have separated records of user and system historical activities.
