Hello Jira Community Members,

Good Noon,

My question is "Can we assign a sub-task to a member without allowing them to view its parent task and other stories on the board, is there a way where I can change the settings?

Your response is highly Appreciated

Thanks,
Shabaz

Hi Shabaz,

If it is a Company-managed project, then you can implement Issue Level Security to control that.

Hi John,

We have the standard (free) version of Jira, do we also have available Issue Level Security?

Hi @Haydé Miranda

Sadly no, you cant.

You can't edit project permissions or roles on the Free plan for Jira, and you can't configure issue-level security on any Free plan (including Jira Service Management). Find out more about how project permissions work in Free plans. To take advantage of Jira's powerful project permission management features, upgrade your plan.
