Please restrict access to users from Creating Releases in Jira.
Only users with Project admin roles should be able create Releases in Jira.
Can any one please assist me on this as how to achieve it .Thanks in advance
This appears to be either a Jira Server or Jira Data Center instance from your screenshot. Could you let us know what version of Jira this is?
Also only users in the project admin role I believe should have this ability to create releases. Could you try to use the permission helper to check for this particular user to see if they happen to have the Administrator permission for an issue in that project? If the user has an unexpected permission/group/role, that utility can be helpful in identifying it and providing links to settings pages where it can be adjusted.
Thanks
Andy
Hi @mummareddy supriya Kindly check Administer Projects permission. Restrict it to Project Lead and Admin only, then Create version option won't be visible to other users.

@mummareddy supriya Are you sure users not added in any of above project roles ?
Check with any users who are not added in any of the project role. If still able to create versions. Kindly contact Atlassian support.
