API to Export jira issue into word.

I want to export the jira issue into a word document.

I want to know if there is any jira API? 

I dont want to do it manually as I want to automate the download.

I just tested it and I think you can use the link which is used for export to word Action on the issue detail. For example for issue with key ISSUE-1, you can use

• {base_url}/si/jira.issueviews:issue-word/ISSUE-1/ISSUE-1.doc
