AD Groups Assigned to Roles

Hello,

I have added an AD Group to a JIRA project and assigned it a role. However, the permissions of the role are not applying to the group. 

For example: The role the AD Group was assigned, in the project, has permission to comment on issues. However, individuals in the group are unable to comment.

What cycle time have you set for your Jira to synchronise with your Active Directory?  Are there any errors in your logs saying that the sync failed?
