3 level cascading custom field type

I want to have cascading fields that have more than 2 levels of variables that is  3 level deep cascading field list.

Can we have cascaded drop down of level 3 in JIRA SD. I mean if I select a value in one drop down, next drop down will populate accordingly.

No, Jira doesn't do more than 2 (parent/child) for cascading fields.

You would need a plugin to do 3 levels, something similar to:

Check out Skills for Jira. It lets you do exactly what you are looking for (screenshot). You can model your levels/skills as a tree with arbitrary depth.

You can specify levels/skill requirements and see qualified experts right on the issue. You can prevent transitions for anyone except experts. You can have experts pull their next qualified task with a click of a button and more.
