When an issue is created or even after creation, when watchers are added to the issue, notification is not received by those people and they don't know that they have been added in the watchers list.
We had this situation where our product was live and being tested by the customer. Everyone was on call and ready to take action. Due to time difference between Australia and US, JIRA was used to log issues and 4 watchers added to the created issue, so that at least one would take immediate action. But no one received notification apart from the assignee who at that particular time was on the train and couldn't do anything to solve the critical bug.
It would be nice to have a mail notification when someone is added as watcher.
Is this a missing feature or a bug in JIRA Cloud?
