Hi,

I have observed few challenges when migrating tool from one environment to another especially during company acquisitions.

This problem was predominant in Jira as Jira is interconnected to source code  and build.Nowadays most organizations have micro services and build pipelines also the source code may not be in bitbucket and can be some other vendor eg:github.

Anyone have idea regarding a seamless migration without breaking the business and productivity?

Usecase:

Company X has Jira,confluence,bitbucket on-prem

Company Z has Jira, confluence and GitHub on cloud and multiple build pipeline.

X acquires Z and need to migrate source code and Jira/confluence data to on-prem.
