Hi All,
We’ve heard you when you said that it takes too long to make changes to multiple issues - given that you’ll have to open them one by one to make changes. With this release, we are addressing that problem.
In list view, you can change the status of your issues, without opening them, real quick.

After - 5x faster |

Perform key issue operations, without opening issues, using the new dropdown at the end of the issue table. Working on multiple issues at the same time or deleting old issues during backlog cleanup will now be much easier.
After we released list view in December 2020, customers reported the need for more space to work on issues. We’ve maximized the use of screen real estate to list more of your issues.
Additionally, we have rebuilt the list view from ground up for faster load times and speedy interactions ⚡️.

Made list view more denseWe’ve fixed the sparse vertical spacing in the issue list with spacing that is denser so that you can see more issues in the list. |

Moved the footer to make more space for issuesThe sticky footer, which previously blocked at least three issues, made it painful for users working on small laptop screens. With the footer moved to the bottom of the list, you can now see more issues on the screen. |

Made the column width dynamically adjustableWith fixed column width, users were forced to use horizontal scrollbars previously. Now, the table adjusts the column width as the window is resized, so you don’t have to scroll to get to your columns. |

How do I stay updated on what’s coming next?
We’ve got a public Jira issue that you can watch to stay updated on the changes for Jira search.
When will my project get these new features?
New features are being progressively rolled out to all users in April 2021.
I want to inline edit all the fields in the table, are you working on that?
We have prioritised status, as it is one of the most commonly updated fields in an issue. In future, we will progressively add inline editing to other fields.
Will these features be available in both company and team managed projects?
Yes
How to enable Issue Navigator in Next-Gen / Team managed project?
You can enable the issue navigator via the features page under Next-gen project settings. After you have enabled the issue navigator, Issues will appear in the project sidebar on the left.
Where do I find these changes in a Classic / Company managed project?
Navigate to the issues page in the project sidebar to experience these new features.
I've got suggestions or questions, how can I provide feedback?
