Sprint Retrospectives now available in Company Managed Projects

Hello Atlassian Community! 👋

My name is Shalu, and I’m a principal product manager on the Confluence team working to create better integrations between Jira and Confluence.

In May 2023, we launched the ability for users to create Sprint Retrospectives from Team Managed Projects and today, we are excited to bring this functionality over to Company Managed Projects.

When finishing a sprint, users of Company Managed Projects will be given the option to create a Sprint Retrospective in either a whiteboard or page format!

These retrospectives are stored in Confluence, making it easier to go back and take action when its the right time.  

Confluence is committed to help developers reduce context switching and keep them in the flow of work, including when they need to create a retrospective! 

The feature will be rolling out on Company Managed Projects over the next few months.

Um. This is amazing! Glad we're going to have this at the project level! Will a Confluence subscription be required? Or will it work similarly to how Confluence powers the knowledge base in JSM?

Hi @Shalu Pandey, can this only be triggered at the end of a sprint or can it be manually triggered at any point?

hi @Kevin Gough at this point, its only triggered through the end of sprint flow. is there another place youd like it to show up?

Hi @Shalu Pandey, if you're using a Kanban board and flow then there are no sprints but you'd still want to do retrospectives. So it would be good if you could trigger this manually when needed.

The Atlassian template, while helpful, is very limited.

From a session history, and a record of resulting action items, and even sending action items to jira.
