Hi Atlassian Community!
Do you ever find yourself unsure whether you’re in your sandbox or production instance? Have you ever wanted a way to easily tell them apart?
I’m here to show you a little Jira admin trick you can do to make it easier to tell them apart.
Make sure you have Jira administration permissions. Learn how to grant admin permissions.
Go to Jira settings > System > User interface > Look and feel
Upload a custom logo, click Update logo
Change the navigation color background, select Update
[Optional] Create a customized banner from User interface > Announcement banner
To do this in Confluence:
Go to Confluence Settings > Site logo and favicon.
Under Site logo, select Choose file.
Select your file and then select Save.
The header color scheme will automatically update to match the colours in your logo. If you want to further customize the colors, select Color scheme from the sidebar. To add a header, select Header and Footer from the sidebar.
If you have any questions or feedback, please leave a comment below!
Cheers,
Matt
