Next-gen projects "Features" project setting

I was wondering about the status of admin-defined templates for next-gen projects. Since there is no support for issue types definition via API, the templates would be the only option here. Many thanks!

Love next gen but they don't allow multiple releases / sprints so had to go back to classic.
