I missed todays live session but was able to watch it tonight. Great information and I look forward to learning more. One of the struggles I have had with marketing teams is managing assets (files).
Jira's forms feature is such a powerful way to streamline and standardize how marketing teams receive work requests. Basically solves one of most marketing teams' biggest challenges - managing incoming requests from multiple channels in a structured way.
Great onboarding series for marketers! I need to create a playlist of these videos once they all come out so we can just share it with some end users for them to get started easily 💡🙂
I am seeing more and more clients needing to implement Jira solutions for their marketing teams. In fact, I begin a new consulting contract for a client this week related to Marketing work. I believe there is a huge need out there for this. Thanks for the Live Learning sessions dedicated to these folks!
As a marketing team lead, I’ve always found Jira pretty hard to use for our team’s work, so I’m really glad to see a series like 'Jira for Marketers'. Marketing projects are complex, with requests coming from everywhere, plus campaigns, content, and deadlines all over the place. Finding a good setup in Jira has been a struggle.
Indeed great series for marketers! Watched the first one in recording, RSVP for the next ones. I particularly liked the focus on forms as a way to organize and streamline requests to the Marketing team. Thank you, Alex, for a bunch of insights!
I love how Alex refers to "old" and "new" Jira. I agree that Jira today is more user-friendly than it used to be. As a Marketing Lead and a Jira fan, it was quite challenging to convince marketing team to use Jira especially in a non-software development company. At my current company all teams are using Jira and that's a blast ^^
Alex, thanks for the overview on how to configure Jira for non-tech teams - great onboarding series! I've watched the first two recordings and have already RSVPed for the next two. Looking forward!
I really enjoyed 2️⃣ Jira for Marketers | Project planning & scheduling!
This was a great introduction on how to blend the use of forms and self-creating tasks, as well as the different views available. I think the calendar view would really help keep our small marketing team organized. The child issues would be great for shared projects as well!
Really loved the examples for automation that were provided in these sessions. Being able to customize and automate previously meticulous tasks to keep work flowing efficiently and facilitate collaboration and approvals is pivotal. Alex makes it easy to get familiar with the capabilities, and encouraged me to test out some of my ideas without being afraid of breaking things!
Great wrap-up at today's session! As I'm not using these native reports that often, it's been a good reminder of what can be visualized by using some of the available charts and reports. 📊
@Alex Ortiz , this was a really good series w/ great demos and info. Thanks for putting this together and doing one a week so we could absorb and try things before the next tutorial. I learned quite a bit about Jira and appreciated the review of the out-of-box reports and the dashboard in the final tutorial. Congrats!

Such a great series. I'm curious if you could do a webinar dedicated to how to translate all of this great info for those of us in marketing who are using the software project version of Jira (company managed). Also it would be great to know how best to integrate with cross functional teams like product and eng from the marketing project(s).
I'm also interested in a webinar on Capacity Planning in Jira for Marketers - ideally not using Sprints as they dont work super well with our hybrid waterfall/agile approach.
