Introducing Integration+ for Jira Server and Cloud in Stride

Turn down the air conditioning because this newest app in our Marketplace is going to blow your socks off.

Today we’re sharing an incredibly powerful and flexible app, Integration+ for Jira in Stride, built by our partner, Nextup.ai. It will supercharge the speed at which you create, assign, and transition work in Jira—without ever leaving Stride. It’s available today for Jira Server and Jira Cloud admins to try free for 30 days.

Quick, powerful issue creation

Creating an issue in Jira from Stride isn’t new—we made that possible with our Jira Cloud for Stride app a long time ago. The new Integration+ app goes much further by bringing all of Jira’s issue creation properties into Stride.

Create an issue by mentioning @Integration Team+ in your conversation, and a link card will allow you to add more important details via the app dialog. With one click, you’ll be able to add the details and context that inspired the issue—the details you might forget when switching from your chat app to Jira in a web browser.

You can add a formatted description of the issue (with code formatting!), assign it to anyone on your team, update the priority status, and choose from pre-defined labels, versions, and components. You can even log work on existing tickets—without leaving your communication tool.

In fact, you may never need to switch between Stride and your browser again because Integration+ lets you query Jira, add comments, or create issues using their bot.

How about managing your entire backlog from your Stride room? Integration+ is happy to cater to your needs—through its bot or Stride’s right sidebar.

As Jira power users, we love how Integration+ lets us view trending issues or see our own backlog from Stride’s right sidebar.

Through the sidebar, you can view the hot issues that have been discussed recently in the room, as well as your own issues, in the sidebar. Easily drag them in the chat to talk about them again.

Global setup, flexible configuration

Integration+ for Jira and Stride is maximally flexible. Once installed by your Jira Admin, Integration+ is globally available for every Stride room.

The app provides fine-gain control to minimize distractions. Your teammates define when they are notified across projects and filters. Integration+ also offers advanced JQL support so your team only gets the pings, dings and chimes that make them more productive.

You also control whether an issue you update in Stride needs to be shared with your entire chat room. Taken together, this means you can view your personal backlog in Stride at any hour of the day.

You can even query Jira to see recent tickets in any Jira project or add comments right from Stride.

Now, that’s powerful.

A great day for Jira Server teams

Aside from the general bad-assery that Nextup’s Integration+ brings, we’re especially excited that it’s one of our first options for Jira Server admins to integrate into Stride. Jira Server admins have clamored for a way to integrate their workflows in Stride, and we’re ecstatic to share this app with them.

But we know that not every Server admin wants to sign up for a paid app right away. That’s why we built the Jira Server Notifications app for Stride. It’s a free solution for Jira Server admins looking for a cut and dry connection between Stride and Jira Server. This free app for Jira Server sends notifications to Stride about issues a user subscribes to.
