@Eoin I've been testing the new filters with the EAP.  I noticed that on a team board I can filter by Epic, but on the backlog the filter is Feature/Epic and I don't see any Epics.  My question is does the Feature/Epic filter in the backlog only pull from that backlog's project?  The reason I'm asking is we setup our Epics in a different project than our team board/backlog.

Hi @Doug Griffiths  - we're wrapping Early Access up next week. We've had a plateau in the feedback volume and we are working through the key themes at the moment. We'll start slowly rolling out to product admins from early July and most users will get the changes by August. I'll be sharing more comms next week around this in detail. Thanks

Hi @Troy M - sounds like a couple of potential issues going on there. 
The filter name being different is a bug - thanks for raising it - we are on it! It should be setting the filter name on the board (like it is on backlog) from your issue type hierarchy config.

The filter values are taken from the story-level issues. So if you have story-level issues in your backlog that have epics - then you should see these epics in the filter. In my enhanced board, in Active Sprint view, the story's names are missing. It will only show the epic label, which I don't really need in Sprint view.

Does anyone see the same or know how to add back the story names in Active Sprint view?

Will this include any meaningful updates to "days in column" on the board? My teams are constantly asking how they can see the days (actual number) but there's only the dots.

The enhancement just got my company's instance. I'm a Jira Admin and I don't yet see a way to toggle the enhancement on for our instance. When is that coming? And when will the instances start defaulting to this enhancement?

Hi @Apryl Harris - you can't toggle it on immediately for everyone in your company. Provided you don't delay the roll-out, your users will get the option to opt-in in two weeks' time. Around mid-late August we will opt-in people who haven't already opted in. And it won't be until the end of September that we remove the opt-out option. Hope this helps.

Superb Thanks @Eoin - just got this rolled out to us ... initially there was a performance issue when loading the backlog/board but it seems to be ok after 10/15 mins of enabling it.

Looks great so far. Looking forward to more things like un/collapsing all sprints, editing items under the summary (Card layout for active / backlog) and more :)
