Hi @Ben Edwards Can you share with me your browser and browser version please? You can send to eryan@atlassian.com I don't have this issue and no one else has reported it. Cheers
It is superb in handling. Such cool changes that boost the everyday work.
But even though its much better in so many points, some are now worse:
I'd like to have back the speakable class names or some unified way of accessing DOM elements with data attributes. Examples:
Swimlane header is now data-test-id="platform-board-kit.ui.swimlane.swimlane-wrapper" with no further information
Prior: .ghx-swimlane-header combined with data-issue-id or data-issue-key
Subtask is now data-component-selector="platform-board-kit.ui.card-container" with limited further information
Prior: .ghx-issue combined with data-issue-id or data-issue-key
Subtask assignee image is now classlist _s7n4nkob _1bsb1osq _4t3i1osq _2rko1ssb
Prior: .ghx-avatar-img
Use case: We use a self-build user script to analyze our JIRA Board. For example: If all subtasks of a swimlane are in ONHOLD / BLOCKED column, then the status pane of the swimlane gets colorized automatically in the color of the ONHOLD / BLOCKED status.
Also the async loading of subtasks is kinda weird tbh. If I open a swimlane, why are only those subtasks within my screen height loaded? I mean, cool stuff, but that makes CMD/STRG+F kinda useless though.
Hi @Eoin, I've retested the functionality you described on this thread and unfortunately am still not seeing the expected behavior in our instance.
When I search for an issue not currently visible on the screen in the Search bar, select the issue, and then clear out the Search bar, the page just displays the very top of the Backlog again, so I am forced to use my eyes + scrolling to find the selected issue.
I'm feeling nervous for the upcoming switch because I know this is really going to affect my users, and they'll be coming to me expecting an explanation.
Can you let me know when at least the workaround you described will be available?
@Eoin I'm seeing the ability to enable/disable the Enhanced Board & Backlog view, and no longer seeing the banner that said the Enhanced view would become mandatory on November 5.

Hi @Monica Morris - no change in the rollout. I'll check on the banner. We've started removing opt opt and this will continue slowly for the next few weeks!
For the auto-scroll to the selected issue - this must be super frustrating for you. Would you be free to sync on Zoom so I can take a closer look? https://calendly.com/eoinryan/30min If there are no suitable times, you can email me at eryan@atlassian.com and I can do an early morning or late evening.

Hi @Dana V. Baldwin - as part of this work we are making the board and backlog full accessible for keyboard only users, as well as more accessible for a bunch more people. J and K were keys that existed before and we've added to these further. You can learn more about the Keyboard Shortcuts in the Help (?) menu. Thanks

Hi @Tim Wehrmann - this might be one which is better for us to chat through on zoom. Let me know if you can't find a suitable time https://calendly.com/eoinryan/30min (eryan@atlassian.com) Thanks!
I love most of these updates. However since this has been rolled out, issues with the status of Done, which is in our right most column are showing on the backlog. Please let me know what I need to configure to make them not show on the backlog but do show on the timeline?

Hi @Nar Kumar C_ - Narva Software - the labels filter on the board should be available now. We haven't made a version filter available on the board yet. Cheers
The board no longer has the options we need to control something ourselves.
As for adding columns the design is rubbish as can only see unmapped status and backlog which we dont need and also have to mnimise to even see the + to add more
At TecnoFor we have plugins that are added to the Jira board view, today we received news that it has stopped working and we have seen that you have made new changes. Luckily we have already solved it and it will soon be updated in all browsers.
Is there a way we can collaborate together so that your changes do not affect other plugins? or at least that there is an Early Access Program, since all these changes are affecting providers like us.
On the other hand, the new board still has many bugs and I think that removing the selector to go to the classic boards has not been a good idea.
Is there any possibility of continuing with the classic boards for a few more months? It makes me very ugly to see how the texts on my cards exceed several columns... and that is just a small example.
The classic Jira boards have worked for many years without problems, eliminating them suddenly does not seem right to me. They deserve a place of honor in Jira (like the previous switch to change between classic and enhanced boards)

Hi @Raul Pelaez _TecnoFor - Marketplace Partner_ Can you email me on eryan@atlassian.com the issue that forced you to make a change? We've been careful to not make breaking changes for apps and I want to do a deeper dive into this. Apologies for the inconvenience!
We're also very keen to learn about any bugs and encourage people to raise support tickets as soon as they come across any. Also, feel free to drop them in here for more visibility as well. We are reacting quickly to anything we find! Thanks
You wrote to @summer.hogan October 5 that showing sum of remaining time in backlog would be fixed. We have just finished Sprint planning and we can only see Story Point calculations, but no remaining time which makes our planning very challenging. Is the bug still there or do I need to change some setting?

Jean Gordon - You're not alone. The hunt for alternative tools has begun here and several other places as well. I know numerous admins that are looking and just don't want to be confrontational or hurt their "image".
I have to give @Eoin full credit. I honestly believe that he is trying his best to address all these issues in this update. Heroically I might add. But, there's so many changes coming out that negatively impact us as customers. NOTHING has been done about the 5,000 issue limit problem yet. NOTHING that can be solved in the marketplace gets addressed, because, if a partner can solve it and put it in the marketplace, Atlassian will get a percentage of that revenue! What incentive is there for Atlassian to solve problems, when third party solutions mean they earn more revenue? I for one, do not understand why it was so much more important for me to be able to insert emojis into Jira, than it is for me to be able to see all my issues in my backlog!!!
But this is the world we live in. And all the complaining in the world only goes so far. As consumers, We have to speak with our money.
How can I have the 'Version' filter visible on my boards, the same I see it on the backlog view? On my boards view, I see all the filters available on the backlog view (Epic, Label, Type, Quick filters) apart from Version. Is it by design?
