Is there a possibility to create a template of project with already predefined tasks?
my usecase would be to run simmilar projects and not to have t ore-create all the tasks every time when a new project starts.
the tasks are the same for each new project.
Hey @Robert Varadi
you can think of a reusable project template as a business process. Projects are one-off instances, whereas processes are regularly repeated. If you reuse a project template a few times, it should be considered a process.
Check out this article about the differences between a project and a process.
Flower - Process Automation for Jira allows you to create a visual representation of your project template like the following:
Flower creates a Jira ticket for each activity in your graph and tracks their status (sequentially or all at once). The image appears in all associated Jira issues, showing the Jira status and priority.
This is an easy and visual way to clone your project template as often as you like.
Hi, @Robert Varadi !
I`m not so good in project settings, but I suggest you try out Business Process Manager add-on.
The saaSJet team has developed this tool to automate recurring procedures, so you do not need to create recurring tasks every time.
You need to:
Set a demo call with BPM product manager to find the best solution for your BPM workflow

Hello @Robert Varadi,
I am Marlene from codefortynine.
If you're open to work with a Marketplace app I would like to recommend Deep Clone for Jira.
With our app you can Bulk Clone issue templates or entire projects. Our app is very easy to understand and can be used by any Jira user.
Once you have installed our app and created the template tasks, this is how cloning works:
It's also possible to create a favorite filter to speed up the process.
You can watch this demo videos to see Deep Clone in action:

Hi,
You can use the Automation, with a "project creation trigger"
and then "create issue" actions with all the details you need
Jira Admin => global automations => New rule
I hope it helps,
