people field is not fetching in the project to grant access

I'm afraid we cannot help you yet.  You have not given us any information on the problem.  "Unable to add people" tells us nothing.  

Could you describe the symptoms of the problem - what are you doing when you try to add them, what do you see, and what you are expecting to see (and why you expect to see it - does it work ok in other places?)
