disable quick key or change them

jira has some preset quick keys. the issue is our users push these letters when filtering and it will often times perform the task of the quick key. It may create an issue or assign an issue when we do not want it to. is there anyway to disable or change the Quick keys to a figure that doesn't get used?

Each user has the ability to disable keyboard shortcuts.  This can be done by clicking the help icon, selecting keyboard shortcuts and then disabling them.
