Adilet Seit May 12, 2022
I would like to be able to copy and move many tasks from one project to another. for example, tasks from the jira software project are moved to the jira work management project. dear community, tell me how can I copy and move a lot of tasks? I understand maybe someone has already been interested in me

Hi @Adilet Seit

Yes, it is fairly easy to do. Something things to keep in mind:

If you have Components on the JSW project, make sure you create the same Components on the JWM project before you move the issues.  The same with Releases.

Also do the same with any custom fields used by the JSW project - make sure those custom fields are available on the JWM project - meaning in the Context and on the Screens.

Also check to see if you are using any different issue types and/or workflows between the projects.

Once all of that is cleared up, then you can do a filter to identify the issues, then do a bulk change > Move to move the issues from one project to the other.

I would suggest you do that with a single issue first to be used to the process.

Then move the others.
